Is your website
doing its job?

Websites are complicated, in the most literal sense. Even when we skip all the way to the point where your website is finished, it’s still a complicated subject, because then we have to figure out if it “works” in a figurative sense. Is your website just taking up time and space and money, or is it retaining visitors? Is it just retaining them, or is it converting visitors into customers? Is it just providing information they could get elsewhere, or is it adding value to both your visitor and your business? Even non-profit organizations have goals, and their websites need to convert visitors into goal-fulfillers. A beautiful website is quite often just a piece of art that sits around and doesn’t do it’s job — and quite frankly — that’s probably not what you set out to pay for.

Been there,
done that.

I know what it feels like to have a beautiful website that doesn’t do it’s job. I’ve been in the Design game since 2004, and while those skills and principles translate directly into websites, my first two websites in 2014 were utter disasters. Those experiences were such nightmares that I nearly swore off web work, forever.

Instead, I learned how to write code and how to leverage and elevate underrated platforms like Squarespace into robust, ultra-functional websites that remain stable and usable when everyone else’s websites are overly complicated and bogged down by incompatible plugins. Theodorem.Design websites look even better today, and now they average a 99.89% uptime (less than 10 hours down, each year), are easy for my clients to manage, and — most importantly — they generate profit around the clock, all year long. They don’t ask for time off, and they don’t sit around looking busy: Theodorem.Design websites do their jobs.

you should always have the
keys to your kingdom.

Many agencies build websites on proprietary templates that you have to request edits and updates to, so you’ll wait weeks for them to get around it those edits. In the meantime, you’ll pay them a steep monthly retainer fee as long as you have your website with them. On top of that, many agencies diversify your billing and then upcharge you to consolidate your billing through them. Theodorem.Design believes that because your website belongs to you, you should have administrative access to your own website, so I cut the middleman out of your billing processes: I’ll help you consolidate and connect your billing. At the end of your website build, up to five people from your organization will be quickly and thoroughly trained* on the management of your site during the final walkthrough.

*Theodorem.Design can also manage your site for you, but it's important for you to understand your site.

swift turnaround times and
efficient communication.

Theodorem.Design’s proven three-stage website process addresses and prevents common difficulties that frequently plague other website projects.
This process keeps things moving efficiently by reducing build time and miscommunication.

With Theodorem.Design your website will be better, sooner, and more easily. Here’s how it works:

Stage 1:
Sitemap

Theodorem.Design creates a sitemap. Once the sitemap is approved, you are given a fillable .pdf to help your team write** the content for your site.

Stage 2:
Creation

While your team writes the content, your website is designed and laid out using filler text and placeholder images.

Stage 3:
Population & Training

The website gets populated & completed, and you — with up to 4 other team members — get trained on how to edit, update, and maintain your new website!
